Heritage Distilling Company (HDC) – is the most awarded craft distillery in North America for the last 10 years by the American Distilling Institute. It is a veteran co-founded distillery with nearly a decade of proven success raising funds for Special Forces affiliated charities and non-profit organizations.
HDC is proud to launch its latest product line Special Operations Salute™ to honor, celebrate, and raise funds for organizations that support our US Special Operations Forces (SOF).

Deployed around the world at the “Tip of the Spear™”, US Special Operations Forces (SOF) make extraordinary sacrifices to protect us and defend our Freedoms.

This is a global expansion from a successful, 7-year, local fund-raising campaign for several charitable groups that support the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) community via sales of “1st SFG(A) Whiskey”.

Called Special Operations Salute™, this project will deploy several editions in rapid succession, each focused on the SOF within a branch of service.

 

Mission Statement

The project exists to increase and broaden awareness of the extraordinary sacrifices made by the heroes and families of the United States Special Operations Forces.

-AND-

Our goal is to raise substantial funds for select, non-profit organizations that support our SOF warriors, veterans, and their families with the target of raising at least $1 million for qualified charities for each featured military edition.

 

Unique Edition Whiskeys

Packaging: The label on each edition’s keepsake bottle proudly displays authentic iconography - by veteran and noted artist Serge Averbukh - and text honoring each service’s SOF units and personnel. The bottles are housed in collectible presentation tubes with matching iconography, extended text, and with a preview of the gift inside.

Spirit: For the local WA release, a custom, small-batch blend of super-premium Straight Whiskeys, matured at least 6 years and bottled at 105 proof, “Howitzer Strength”.

Gift: A frameable, 8” x 10” print of custom lithography by celebrated artist and veteran with multiple SOF deployments,  Michael Solovey, honoring each service’s SOF, sleeved in a document protector and wrapped around the bottle, inside the tube.
